Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about GoKlips, for brands and clippers.
General
- What is GoKlips?
- GoKlips is an Arabic platform and agency that runs content-distribution campaigns: we turn one piece of content into hundreds of short-form clips distributed by a clipper network across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Reels.
- How does a brand get started?
- A brand books a strategy call from the booking page. We set goals, budget and audience, build the campaign plan, and once agreed our team creates and runs the whole campaign.
- How does a clipper earn?
- Earnings = (verified views ÷ 1,000) × the campaign rate per 1,000 views. Only approved, verified views count, capped by the campaign budget.
- What types of campaigns are there?
- Four: Clipping (clip and repost content), Music (use a trending audio in your content), Logo (feature a brand's logo in your content), and UGC (film yourself on camera). All pay per 1,000 verified views.
- Is it free for clippers?
- Yes — creating a clipper account and joining campaigns is completely free.
- Who owns the content rights in a campaign?
- Campaigns run on content the brand owns or has licensed. Clippers use only the source content the campaign provides.
- Which platforms are clips posted on?
- TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels. Each campaign specifies its allowed platforms.
For clippers — views & payments
- When exactly are views measured?
- The view count on every active clip is refreshed every 24 hours. Payouts are processed weekly, every Friday, based on the latest verified view count at that point.
- Are views checked once or repeatedly?
- Repeatedly — the count is updated every 24 hours until the campaign ends.
- What prevents fake or bot-generated views?
- We have zero tolerance for spam. Any views we detect as fake or bot-generated will get your account suspended, with no payment.
- Can an advertiser reject a clip?
- Yes — if the clip breaks the campaign rules or if fake views are detected.
- Can a clipper dispute a rejected submission?
- Yes. Open a dispute from the rejected clip and our team will review it.
- What happens if I delete a submitted video (e.g. from TikTok)?
- Deleting any clip you've submitted is not allowed and can get your account suspended. Keep your clips live for the whole campaign.
- What if a clip gets 100k views after the campaign budget runs out?
- We only pay for views recorded before the campaign closed. Views that arrive after the budget is exhausted don't earn.
- Who gets paid if several clippers use up the remaining budget at the same time?
- Everyone is paid for the views their clips had before the campaign closed, up to a maximum of 1,000,000 views per video.
- How and when do I get paid?
- Earnings are paid out automatically every Friday to the payout method saved on your profile (InstaPay or a mobile wallet), as long as your available balance is at least 50 EGP. No withdrawal request needed.
